BIO Israeli artist Ella Manor captures her world with cunning creativity. A New York City-based photographer, her work is emulative of one who is broadly exposed to differing atmospheres, both physically and emotionally. The basis of Ella's art is categorically panoramic. The various bodies of work of which she has most recently produced include commercial and fine art fashion and beauty work, and self portraits. These have distinct stylistic parallels but also vary in regard to the expressions that are conveyed. Moods that spill out of her painting-like imagery are fervent yet playful; sprightly, yet solemn; all the while maintaining elements that delightfully personify Ella and her soulful search for truth through creating both commercial and fine art. With incredible focus, she produces photography and film work, all the while continuing to draw inspiration and create work in other mediums such as painting, illustration, graphic design and cinema. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, she is 1st and 2nd place winner of the 2008 Prix de la Photographie Paris in both beauty and self portraiture categories.
