Born in Canada, Caterina spent her early years in Italy.  She is a professionally trained violinist, having studied under members of the National Orchestra of Canada and is an affiliate of the Royal Conservatory of Music.  With 15 years of training in Cecchetti classical ballet, Caterina studied under Canada’s grande dame, Celia Franca and has danced with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens. 

Studies at Universities in Canada and Europe earned her a Bachelor of International Business degree while further academic studies led to fluency in English, French, Spanish and Italian.  She has lived and worked in Canada, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Egypt, Uganda and the United Arab Emirates and presently lives in Paris, France.

At the age of 23, she became a commercial and cultural correspondent, creating and producing cultural and economic reports for The Times of London and The Washington Post.  Having conducted over 100 interviews with political and private leaders, memorable interviews include President Vicente Fox of Mexico, President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities Dr. Zahi Hawass and the late Egyptian film director Youssef Chahine.
