Studies at universities in Canada and Europe coupled with a Presidential Scholarship, earned her a Bachelor of International Business degree with Honours while further academic studies led to fluency in English, French, Spanish and Italian.  She has lived and worked in Canada, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Egypt, Uganda and the United Arab Emirates and presently lives in Paris, France.

At the age of 23, she became a commercial and cultural correspondent, creating and producing cultural and economic reports for The Times of London and The Washington Post.  Having conducted over 100 interviews with political and private leaders, memorable interviews include President Vicente Fox of Mexico, President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities Dr. Zahi Hawass and the late Egyptian film director Youssef Chahine.

Following associating and developing the relationship between Canadian creative agency Circo de Bakuza and the Dubai International Film Festival - the unprecedented success of the opening and closing ceremonies combined with her vast international experience and passion for commerce and art led Caterina to establish universKA and the universKA Kollective.  She is also Deputy Editor at Unfair Magazine.
